the process
STEP 1: THE INTRODUCTION
The first step in any successfully conducted service is to build a rapport with the customer. From all my years of experience, this is the most important part. If you don't have a clear understanding of your customer's needs, how can you truly help them?
STEP 2: MAPPING & ANALYTICS
Once a clear understanding of your needs is conveyed, we will begin the process of measuring your current equipment. I find this step helps to paint a baseline for performance as well as to reveal any needs not discovered in the introduction. We will then use that data to show you the products that are most appropriate to help you and your game.
STEP 3: TEST, TEST & MORE TEST
Now that a clear understanding of your needs has been reviewed, it's time to dive into some new products! The proper way to fit a golf club is to determine the head first. We do this by selecting 1 shaft that is appropriate for you based on weight, stiffness and bend profile. We then use this shaft to go through all the heads available for that part of the bag.
Why is this the case?
What if I told you the head is the most important part of the golf club? That's right, the head makes the biggest difference and that is why we need to fit for this first. Manufactures know this, which is why they spend all the R&D dollars on the heads. Once the head is determined, we will go back and start working through the shafts to help further dial in the performance. From here you can also count on any adjustments to loft, lie or face angle to also be made. The last part is the grip and this also plays a factor in performance, so rest assured we over look nothing. Once we find the set up we like, those EXACT specifications are recorded into our very own unique fitting files where they can be shared with you in an easy to understand format.
STEP 4: THE BUILD
Quality is everything when we purchase products right? But quality extends far beyond the simple assembly of the clubs when it comes to golf. If the fitting wasn't performed correctly to start or there is a loss of translation from the fitter to the builder, then the entire experience goes out the door. This is why I personally build every product I fit in order to guarantee satisfaction. There is an old saying "when you do something for someone else, do it the same way you would do it for yourself". You can bet on that being the case, or your money back.
